ACCEPTING THE ROAD
Farm Road is a very important basic communication system in paddy fields. It is a major gateway connecting the fields to the outside world. Farm roads were built to facilitate the use of machinery such as lorries for the purpose of transporting seeds or paddy crops, harvesting machinery for harvesting and cars / motorcycles to facilitate farmers to go back and forth to tillage. Then narrow existing farm roads should be widened and damaged or imperfect roads should be upgraded. This is important because it is fundamental to the transfer of technology and modernization of the paddy field to be able to become a competitive industry. Some farm roads are not only used for agricultural use but also for daily use as well as for commercial purposes. The total length of farm road available in the IADA paddy field is 756,829m. Most of the farm roads found in the IADA irrigation scheme are 4m wide.

Basically, KPA is defined as a group of farmers based on one unit of irrigation area that can function independently. The group has similar interests in terms of water sources, irrigation schedule and other agricultural inputs. The KPA established to ensure that all agricultural needs are effectively coordinated. The role of the KPA at the rural level is to coordinate all water management activities including maintaining the irrigation system within its area to achieve equitable distribution of irrigation water.
Area-level KPA will also be able to take immediate action on any irrigation problems encountered. The role of the KPA Chief is to coordinate all the farmers under the protection of their area to be given irrigation and crop schedules as determined by the authorities. The KPA chief is also responsible for coordinating with other KPA leaders on all common needs such as managing the distribution of labor and machinery so that the schedule of crops can be followed. His other responsibilities are as representatives and spokesmen of its members at high-level meetings. KPA can be used as a platform to coordinate any services related to rice production.
