FUNCTIONS OF SPECIAL PROJECT SECTION
- Design, implement and oversee the development of irrigation and drainage infrastructure development programs in the country's major economic success areas (NKEAs).
- Investigate, design and build agricultural irrigation and drainage systems in the country's major economic success areas (NKEAs).
- Upgrading farm road infrastructure, trails and bridges for farm mechanization and transportation facilities to bring agricultural inputs and outputs in the country's key economic success areas (NKEAs).
- Provides technical advice and reviews on consultancy services for the development of paddy fields in the country's key economic success areas (NKEAs).
- Design and implement agricultural modernization systems for irrigation and drainage systems such as equipment automation including SCADA systems as well as innovative and technological programs such as green technology, energy saving in the country's key economic success areas (NKEA).
- Perform contract and quotation management work. Implementing MS ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system namely Construction Contract Management.
- Manages and conducts work on development projects from other agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of office buildings, strongers and other IADA premises as well as other agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry as needed.
