Valid paddy seed is a category of paddy seed issued by the Department of Agriculture. It is brewed from registry seeds according to the terms and procedures specified and has been certified in compliance with standards of quality determined by genetics, purity type, physicality, germination rate and moisture percentage. The seed of the register is the rice seed that is derived from the basic seeds obtained from MARDI. These paddy seeds are only produced by government-appointed producers. From the point of view of planting, legitimate rice seeds are a category of seeds that are not contaminated with foreign materials such as weeds, wind paddy and are not infected by harmful diseases. It has a high potential to grow well when planted. Farmers are recommended to use valid rice seeds in terms of quality control and quality assurance: -
